Description
A Southwood neoclassical reproduction settee in the Sheraton style. The hardwood frame features a dark mahogany finish accented with light wood stringing and rectangular inlays on the arm blocks. The piece is supported by fluted and tapered front legs and square splayed rear legs. The upholstery consists of a striped floral damask fabric in rose pink, sage green, and cream tones. It features a single loose box-welted seat cushion. A law label under the cushion indicates the filling is 50 percent polyester fiber and 50 percent duck down. A woven manufacturer label under the seat cushion displays a heraldic crest and reads Southwood, Hickory, North Carolina.

Condition report:
Overall very good condition consistent with residential use. The wood frame displays minor surface scuffs and small scratches on the lower legs and arm supports. A small vertical white mark is present on the inlay of the right arm block. The upholstery is well-preserved with no significant stains or tears.
