Description
A mahogany server in the Queen Anne style featuring a rectangular top with crossbanded mahogany borders and lightwood string inlay. The case contains four side-by-side drawers. Each drawer front is faced with flame mahogany veneers, matching crossbanding, and is fitted with brass batwing backplates and bale handles. The server is constructed with a scalloped apron and is supported by four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The drawers are built using dovetail joinery and utilize oak as a secondary wood. No maker marks or labels are present.
33 inches high x 66.5 inches wide x 21 inches deep.
Condition report:
The server is in good structural condition. The top surface shows scattered minor scratches and small indentations consistent with age and use. A small cluster of circular stains or finish loss is present on the rear edge of the top. There are occasional small nicks and light wear to the finish on the legs and scuffing to the bottom of the pad feet.
