Description
A Wellington Hall reproduction dressing table or small desk designed in the Federal style. The wooden piece features a warm mahogany-toned veneer and is constructed with a bow-front top accented by a cross-banded inlay border. The configuration includes a central drawer situated above a small arched kneehole, flanked by two side drawers, all fitted with circular brass-tone knobs. The side panels and drawer fronts are embellished with painted floral swags, ribbons, and wreaths. The table stands on four square-tapered legs. A red oval label on the interior of one drawer is marked Wellington Hall Reproduction with a stylized W logo. The piece retains its original Wellington Hall hang tag and a retail tag from Green Front Furniture Co. of Farmville, Virginia.
