Description
This Mid-Century Modern armchair is attributed to Vamdrup Stolefabrik of Denmark, dating to the 1960s. The chair features a sculptural teak frame with a distinctive continuous sled-base design. The flared armrests widen toward the front, terminating in a flattened profile. The backrest and seat are upholstered in a dark brown, pebble-grained synthetic material, with the backrest featuring four-button tufting. The joinery is partially visible through recessed screw heads on the side rails. The frame demonstrates the organic, flowing lines typical of Danish Scandinavian design from the period.

Condition report:
The chair is in fair to good vintage condition. There is significant finish wear and loss on the upper surfaces of both armrests, exposing the lighter wood beneath. The teak frame shows scattered scuffs, scratches, and minor indentations consistent with age and use. The upholstery remains intact on the seating surfaces, while the protective backing material on the underside of the seat is loose and fraying.
