A Royal Doulton ‘Beefeater’ Large Character Jug, model D6206. This hand-decorated glazed ceramic figural mug depicts the bust of a man in historical attire, featuring a ruddy complexion, dark beard and mustache, a cream-colored ruffled ruff collar, and a black top hat adorned with red, white, and blue accents. The integrated handle is textured with an elaborate design. Embossed text on the side includes "Yates" and "Bell." The base bears a comprehensive backstamp reading "ROYAL DOULTON, " "hand decorated, " "MADE IN ENGLAND, " "BEEFEATER, " "D.6206," "Modelled by H. Fenton, " and "© ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LIMITED 1946."
