Description
A framed French architectural print depicting a cross-section of the Pavillon Français (also known as the Pavillon des Concertes) at the Petit Trianon, Versailles, after the works of Rodolphe Pfnor. The artwork illustrates an ornate interior space with a domed ceiling and paneled walls, adorned with classical and Rococo-inspired decorative motifs such as garlands, urns, and mythical creatures. The print features a grisaille and gilt palette. It is presented under glass, within a wide, neutral-toned mat, and housed in an ornate carved wood or composite frame with a distressed silver or gilt finish, characterized by scrolling acanthus leaf patterns.
