Description
A pair of Neoclassical style table lamps. Each lamp features an urn-form body, predominantly finished in matte black with gilded metal details. These details include scrolled handles adorned with acanthus leaves and a rosette motif, from which decorative black and gold textile tassels are suspended. The urn body rests on a gilded metal pedestal, which is mounted on a rectangular black plinth, further supported by a gilded, molded metal base featuring a repeating ovolo or leaf pattern. Each is topped with a conical fabric shade with alternating black and off-white vertical stripes and a gilded metal finial shaped like a laurel wreath. No manufacturer’s marks or text are visible.
