Description
A 19th Century Victorian dark-stained wood ladderback side chair, exhibiting a traditional style. The chair features a curved ladder back with two horizontal slats and a carved crest rail adorned with a central floral or foliate motif. It is constructed with turned front legs and stretchers. The seat is upholstered in a green needlepoint fabric depicting a vibrant multi-colored floral design, trimmed with a decorative gimp. The underside of the seat frame bears a handwritten inscription that reads “Blackburn.”

Condition report:
Good antique condition, consistent with age and use. Minor scratches, scuffs, and some wear to the dark-stained wood finish are present. The needlepoint upholstery appears generally intact with minor signs of wear.
