Description
This mid-century modern furniture set is a two-piece wall unit designed in the Danish Modern style, featuring construction and hardware characteristic of makers such as Domino Mobler. The unit is crafted from teak and teak veneers. The lower component is a long sideboard base with three sliding doors, each detailed with an inset square wooden pull. The interior of the base contains adjustable shelving and two drawers on the right-hand side built with high-quality finger-jointed joinery. The upper component is a modular open-front shelving unit divided into three vertical compartments. This upper section includes two pre-drilled holes in the back panel intended for secure wall mounting. No maker marks, labels, or stamps were identified during inspection.
Base Section: 28.5 inches H x 73.5 inches W x 19 inches D
Top Section: 48 inches H x 35 inches W x 10.5 inches D.
Condition report:
The unit exhibits signs of significant use and age. The top surface of the base cabinet displays prominent circular water stains, heat rings, and areas of finish discoloration. There are various minor scuffs, scratches, and light edge wear throughout both pieces consistent with vintage furniture. The sliding mechanisms and internal drawers are functional.
