Description
This wooden side table features a traditional design with a trompe l’oeil library theme. The mahogany-toned frame supports an oval cabinet with the sides and back decorated with panels depicting the spines of antique leather-bound books. The oval top includes an inset panel featuring a scrolling foliate pattern under a clear finish. The front of the piece is configured with one shallow pull-out slide at the top and two drawers below, each fitted with small dark-toned metal knobs. The entire unit is supported by four slender cabriole legs.

Condition report:
The inset panel on the top exhibits significant all-over crazing and surface cracking to the clear coat finish. There is minor wear, light scuffing, and small abrasions to the wood legs, decorative surfaces, and top rim, consistent with age and use.
