Description
A pair of matching table lamps featuring white glazed porcelain bases modeled as birds perched on flowering branches. The ceramic bases are mounted on cast metal plinths with a gold-tone finish and four bracket feet. Each lamp includes a cream-colored pleated fabric drum shade with metallic decorative cord trim and a brass-tone spherical finial. The underside of the metal bases is textured and shows no visible maker’s marks.
13 x 9.5 x 24 inches.
Condition report:
The porcelain components appear free of chips or cracks. The metal bases show oxidation, pitting, and wear to the gold-tone finish. The fabric shades exhibit significant discoloration, foxing, and staining, particularly to the interior linings. Electrical components are untested.
