In the background, a sailboat rests on calm water under a soft, hazy sky. The work is signed Paul Landry followed by a copyright symbol in the lower right corner. The painting is presented in a gold-gilt wooden frame with a dark-toned patina, under a multi-layered off-white mat with a thin reddish-brown inner border. A handheld tag is included, and a yellow tape measure confirms the frame width.
