Description
A collection of four vintage items centered on the beloved Raggedy Ann and Andy franchise, including two large sitting figures and a pair of framed shadow box wall hangings. The sitting figures, depicting Raggedy Ann (in a blue dress) and Raggedy Andy (in blue overalls), are constructed of a heavy material, likely plaster or chalkware, and are hand-painted in bright colors, showing the characters in their classic striped stockings and patchwork style clothing. The wall hangings, attributed to the style of Bobbs-Merrill Company 1977 decor, feature three-dimensional paper cut-outs of the characters set against a red-and-white gingham backing, accented with artificial floral sprigs. These wall hangings are housed in deep-set frames finished in distressed red and gold. The reverse of the frames is covered in a brown and yellow textured, tweed-like material, with one frame retaining a gold oval sticker identifying “Logan’s Inc.” as a likely manufacturer or distributor of the frame or wall art.
