Description
A stoneware vase/tumbler by J.Chase Ceramics, featuring a tapered cylindrical form and a gently flared rim. The piece displays a distinct tripartite glaze application: the upper two-thirds are covered in a speckled off-white glaze, transitioning to a wide band of vibrant light green glaze. The lower portion of the body displays an incised geometric pattern, with darker glaze filling the recesses against the visible lighter clay body. The underside of the base bears an impressed maker’s mark, ‘JC’ and numerals ’17’.
