Description
An Edwardian style serpentine front pedestal desk, crafted from richly figured mahogany veneer with extensive ebonized accents. The desk features a central kneehole drawer flanked by two pedestals, each containing five drawers, all fitted with ornate brass circular drop-ring pulls adorned with floral rosettes. The prominent top surface showcases a central burlwood veneer panel within an ebonized border, detailed with an inlaid marquetry garland pattern. The structure is supported by eight carved cabriole legs terminating in paw feet, connected by ebonized scrollwork and further embellished with ebonized moldings and carved details on the pedestals.
