Description
A vintage Madame Alexander ‘Margaret O’Brien’ composition doll, featuring reddish-brown braided hair and green sleep eyes. The doll is dressed in a red and white striped puffed-sleeve dress with a sheer apron overlay and lace trim, a red straw hat, knitted socks, and black Mary Jane-style shoes. Key visible markings include a cloth tag sewn into the dress collar identifying it as "Madame Alexander New York U.S.A.", and a green clover-shaped wrist tag with "A MADAME ALEXANDER DOLL" and "Margaret O’Brien ALL RIGHTS RESERVED". A medallion around its neck is inscribed "MADCC COMPETITION 1988". A pink commemorative ribbon is attached to its arm, printed with "MADAME ALEXANDER DOLL CONVENTION", "MARGARET O’BRIEN DOLL", and "1984", bearing a black handwritten signature that appears to be "Margaret O’Brien".
