Description
A Regency Revival mahogany twin pedestal dining table. The rectangular top features rounded corners and a wide cross-banded border of figured satinwood or light-colored wood veneer, framed by double-line stringing. The tabletop is finished with a reeded edge profile. The surface is supported by two turned pedestals, each featuring a central bulbous section carved with acanthus leaf motifs. Each pedestal rests on four splayed and reeded legs with carved acanthus leaf shoulders, terminating in brass-capped lion’s paw feet on casters. The table includes two additional leaves for expansion. A paper identification tag is attached with handwritten measurements.

Condition report:
Overall good condition consistent with age and domestic use. The polished tabletop exhibits several surface scratches and scuffs, including a pair of noticeable parallel scratches near one end. The pedestal bases and legs show minor nicks and wear. The brass hardware shows expected oxidation.
