Description
A single contemporary curule-form ottoman or stool featuring an ebonized wood frame. The design employs scrolled X-shaped legs connected by horizontal stretchers, characteristic of the Neoclassical Revival or Hollywood Regency aesthetic. The joints and terminations of the frame are accented with circular bosses or rosettes. The fixed rectangular cushion is upholstered in a textured fabric displaying a high-contrast black and tan zebra-stripe pattern. The frame is finished in a black lacquer. No manufacturer’s markings or labels are legible.
