Lifetime Collection of Atlanta Resident: Part II
Lot 496:
Description
A single HoMedics EnviraScape Indoor Wind Chime System, identified through market consensus as the WC-100 model. This contemporary desktop electronic unit features four cylindrical metal chime tubes suspended within a dark brown wooden frame shaped like a pointed oval. The unit is supported by a bell-shaped base and topped with a matching conical canopy. Both the base and canopy are finished in a verdigris green patina with copper-tone trim, simulating aged bronze. The base incorporates a mesh grate beneath which a dark striker is visible, suggesting the electronic mechanism for activating the chimes. The front of the base features a copper-toned oval cartouche housing three control buttons marked ‘-‘, ‘O’, and ‘+’, indicating volume and power functions. The design is intended to provide soothing, simulated wind chimes indoors.
