Description
A single oval wall mirror executed in the Rococo Revival style. The deep frame is finished in metallic gold gilt. The frame features continuous high-relief molding depicting scrolling foliage, acanthus leaves, and clusters of floral and berry motifs. Subtle polychrome accents, including green and reddish-brown tones, are applied to the floral elements along the upper and lower curved edges. The mirror glass is clear. No visible maker’s marks or inscriptions are present.
