Description
A single folding occasional table constructed of wood with a dark reddish-brown finish, likely simulating mahogany or cherry wood. The rectangular tabletop features serpentine or scalloped edges. The surface is decorated with contrasting wood veneer inlay, including two perimeter bands following the edge contour and a central oval medallion. The medallion exhibits a radiating fan or sunburst pattern composed of alternating light and dark wood segments. The base consists of folding ‘X’ supports joined by visible brass-toned metal hardware. The supports terminate in scrolled feet. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
