Description
This lidded, footed vessel is crafted from carved and painted wood. It features a globular body decorated with scrolling floral and foliate motifs in a light natural wood tone against a dark ground. The tiered lid complements this design with deeply carved geometric patterns, a rope-twist border, and a finial adorned with similar foliate decoration. A braided cord with multi-colored tassels is tied around the finial, enhancing its traditional Southeast Asian aesthetic.
