Description
30 x 36 William Schwedler (American, 1942-1982), ‘Snap Judgment’. This mixed-media abstract artwork, likely dating from the late 20th century (1980s-1990s), features a composition of layered painted paper or cardstock elements in muted pink, sage green, and grey tones, accented with raised white lines, set against a muted pink ground. It is presented under glazing with a double mat in sage green and a narrower muted pink border, all within a sleek gold-colored metal frame. A faint, illegible signature or artist’s mark is visible in the lower right corner of the artwork. The verso bears a label for “ALEXANDRA INTERNATIONAL, ” identifying the piece as “BLOSSOM II” (Model 1793), made in the U.S.A.
