Description
A Pottery Craft stoneware vase, featuring an incised stylized lily motif. This handcrafted piece, consistent with mid to late 20th-century studio pottery, presents a flared rim, tapering neck, and a bulbous body. It is finished in a two-tone glaze, with a matte dark brown on the main body contrasting with a lighter speckled beige/tan at the rim and base. The stylized floral motif on one side is rendered in an off-white tone. The base retains its original paper label, which reads ‘Pottery Craft, ‘ ‘compton, cal 90222,’ and ‘handcrafted stoneware, ‘ and is fitted with four dark felt pads.
