Description
9.5 x 11 A vintage Chinese four-panel folding table screen, crafted with dark stained wood frames and brass-colored hinges. The ornately carved feet feature decorative cutouts. One side of the screen depicts four individual panels with stylized Chinese female figures in traditional attire, each holding a distinct object such as a leaf, book, fan, or flowering branch. These figures are painted on a light-colored textile or paper medium. The reverse side similarly showcases four panels with traditional ink-wash style paintings of bamboo and orchids. Each painted panel on both sides bears a red square artist’s seal or chop mark in the lower right corner. A ‘MADE IN CHINA’ sticker is visible on the foot of one panel.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. Minor superficial wear consistent with age and use.
