Description
A pair of Wallace Baroque silver plate candlesticks. Each crafted in a Rococo Revival style, likely late 19th to early 20th century. They feature a squared, fluted candle cup with a foliate-scroll rim, a tapering stem with a central knop, and a spreading, lobed square base richly decorated with deeply cast rocaille and foliate motifs, supported by four scrolled feet. The underside of one candlestick is marked ‘MADE IN’ above ‘BRITANNIA METAL’, confirming the base material as Britannia metal with silver plating.
