Description
A five-piece silver-plated on copper tea and coffee service, dated 1880. The set comprises two lidded pots, a lidded sugar bowl, an open sugar bowl or waste bowl, and a creamer. The service displays an ornate Rococo Revival or Victorian style, featuring scrolled handles, elaborate finials, and foliate-decorated feet. The underside of one pot is explicitly marked "ON COPPER" alongside an intertwined monogram (possibly ‘AH’) and the numerical inscription "1880".

Condition report:
