Description
A Chinese ceramic Mudman figure depicting Shou-Lao, also known as Shouxing, the Chinese deity of longevity. The elderly male figure is characterized by a long white beard and mustache, and an elaborate hat. He is adorned in a flowing robe decorated with intricate stylized motifs, including flora and geometric patterns, executed primarily in iron-red enamel and a reddish-brown hue over a white-glazed ground. He holds a prominent, red, peach-like object in his right hand. The unglazed base exhibits a central kiln hole and a very faint, undecipherable impressed mark.

Good overall condition, displaying vibrant colors. No major visible damage, aside from minor wear or an irregularity to the very top edge of the hat.
