Description

A pair of Boehm porcelain botanical sculptures, each depicting a delicate pink rose with green leaves set upon a naturalistic base resembling a gnarled piece of wood or branch. The larger sculpture, titled ‘AMERICAN EXPRESS ROSE’ No. 110, is marked on its base with a stylized ‘F’ logo, ‘Boehm’, ‘AMERICAN EXPRESS ROSE’, ‘MADE IN U.S.A.’, and the number ‘110’. The smaller piece features a ‘Boehm’ mark with a winged creature logo, the copyright date ‘© 1999’, ‘F485 P’, and the series name ‘Roses of the Rainbow’.

Larger: 23 cm (9 in) long, 12 cm (4.75 in) wide, 10 cm (4 in) high.

Smaller: 17 cm (6.75 in) long, 9 cm (3.5 in) wide, 8 cm (3.25 in) high.
