Description
This modern abstract sculpture presents a stylized biomorphic form, possibly avian, dating to an apparent mid-to-late 20th-century period. It is composed of two primary materials: the main body, head, and integrated pedestal are crafted from a light-colored, porous stone, likely travertine, exhibiting natural pitting and veining. Complementary curved elements, featuring a distinct fluted texture, are carved from a lighter-toned wood and are seamlessly integrated into the stone form. The entire sculpture stands on a matching rectangular stone plinth. No visible text, signatures, or other markings are apparent.
