Description
A framed assemblage featuring a three-dimensional Christmas tree crafted from a dense array of simulated pearls, various glass and plastic beads, and small costume jewelry components, all affixed to a red velvet or felt background. A starburst element, also composed of beads, crowns the tree, and additional white bead strings extend from its sides. The artwork is housed in an ornate, gilded wooden frame adorned with scrolling foliate and shell motifs. The reverse is sealed with brown paper tape and fitted with a wire hanger, bearing a handwritten inscription in the lower right corner that appears to read “Very Christ mas! 12. 25. [illegible year]”.
Condition report:
The overall apparent condition of the beaded artwork is good, with all elements seemingly intact. The frame exhibits wear, including minor chips and abrasions to the gilding.
