Description
This antique console table features a dark-stained wood construction with an elongated hexagonal top. The top is adorned with a central book-matched wood veneer panel, bordered by a darker frame. It stands on four prominently carved barley twist legs, which connect to a lower stretcher base. The stretcher base incorporates a central circular element and stylized scrollwork. The front apron includes a decorative, curvilinear element with a central carved shell motif, backed by a burl wood veneer panel.
Condition report:
The item presents in good overall apparent condition. It shows minor surface wear, scuffs on the feet, and dust accumulation consistent with age and use. No significant structural damage is immediately visible.
