Description
This collection of hand-painted earthenware is produced by Stangl Pottery in the Golden Harvest pattern. Each piece features a pale sage green or celadon-colored glaze ground decorated with stylized white lily flowers with yellow centers and petals, accented by dark brown leaves and golden stalks of wheat. The items are finished with a dark brown rim. The collection includes dinner plates, salad or dessert plates, teacups with matching saucers, a tiered serving stand with a brass-tone metal handle, and a cylindrical food warmer base featuring a large circular cutout. The underside of several pieces is stamped with an oval mark reading Stangl Pottery Trenton, N.J. above the pattern name Golden Harvest. Additional hand-painted decorator marks, including a large letter D and a small v-shaped tick, are also present.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition with typical signs of light use. There are minor surface scratches and faint crazing to the glaze on some pieces. No major chips, cracks, or repairs are visible.
