Description
A Japanese Meiji Period cloisonné enamel vase and a matching lidded cylindrical box. The vase features a bulbous body and a flared neck, decorated with intricate floral and foliate designs in various colors, primarily set within contrasting green and red panels against a dark blue enameled ground. The lidded box exhibits similar multicolored floral patterns on a red ground, with a bright blue enameled interior and brass-tone metal rims. No visible text or maker’s marks are present on either piece.
