Description
A Bulova Tempus Fugit Westminster Chime Mantel Clock, made in West Germany. This traditional-style clock features a polished, reddish-brown wooden case with an arched top, brass-tone metal finials, a top carrying handle, and a decorative scroll-footed base. The rectangular brass-tone dial face is adorned with ornate corner spandrels and a central circular silver-tone chapter ring displaying black Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes. “Bulova” is prominently featured at the center of the dial. Above the main dial, an oval cartouche reads “Tempus Fugit” (Latin for “Time Flies”). Small text at the bottom of the dial indicates “Made in Germany.” The brass movement, visible from the rear, is marked “BULOVA WATCH COMP. INC.,” “TWO (2) JEWELS,” “UNADJUSTED,” “MADE IN WEST GERMANY,” and bears model numbers “86” and “340-020.”
