Description
A First Edition, First Printing of ‘Charlotte’s Web’ by E. B. White, published by Harper & Brothers in 1952. The hardcover book features a tan cloth-bound cover with the title ‘Charlotte’s Web’ and a spider illustration printed in blue on the front cover and spine. The spine additionally lists ‘E. B. White’ and ‘Harper.’ The copyright page confirms ‘FIRST EDITION’ and the publisher’s code ‘1-B’, indicating a first printing. The interior front and rear endpapers are a distinctive blue with a white spiderweb design. The internal pages are cream-colored with black text and illustrations by Garth Williams. A handwritten name, possibly ‘Roz Thomas,’ is present on the front endpaper.

Visible wear to the tan cloth-bound cover, including discoloration and minor marks. General age-toning to the internal pages, consistent with a book of this period. The binding remains sound. Handwritten inscription on the front endpaper. Lacks dust jacket.
