A collection of four vintage felt or polyester pennants primarily focused on Atlanta, Georgia, sports and major events spanning the period from 1982 through 1996. The lot includes: 1) A University of Georgia Bulldogs pennant featuring the classic Uga mascot logo in black, white, and red. 2) A promotional pennant celebrating the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, GA, featuring Coca-Cola’s “Olympic City For The Fans!” branding against a city skyline backdrop. 3) An Atlanta Braves pennant commemorating the 1992 World Series and the National League Champions titles of ’91 and ’92, decorated with numerous facsimile signatures of team members. 4) An earlier Atlanta Braves pennant commemorating the 1982 N.L. Western Division Champions, featuring the classic “Screaming Indian” mascot logo and an official Major League Baseball (MLB) logo stamp near the tip.
