Description
After Erté (Romain de Tirtoff) (Russian/French, 1892-1990). The work is an Art Deco style fashion illustration, likely an offset lithograph or poster print, depicting a standing female figure in profile. The figure wears a dramatic black gown with a long, trailing train rendered in vibrant red and black stylized patterns. She is masked and set against a solid medium-gray background. The work is presented under glazing in a cream-colored mat and thin metallic frame.
