Description
An Art Deco-inspired figural sculpture titled ‘Natalie’ by Alexander Danel for Austin Productions, dated 1989. This stylized female figure is cast from a composite material, likely resin or stone composite. She is depicted standing with an elegant, elongated posture, adorned in an elaborate, flowing gown with dramatic, angular drapery and a decorative necklace. The sculpture features a two-tone metallic patination, predominantly a matte silver or pewter color, with subtle darker accents on the hair, necklace, and some drapery details, suggesting an oxidized bronze or greenish-blue effect. The signature ‘A. DANEL’ is visible on the front of the base, and ‘AUSTIN PROD INC 1989’ with a copyright symbol is impressed on the rear of the base.
Condition report:
Good condition. No apparent chips, cracks, or significant surface wear observed. Minor age-appropriate wear may be present consistent with handling.
