6.5 x 11 A pair of vintage folk art carved wooden crane sculptures, each highly stylized with slender bodies and elongated neck/head forms. The dark reddish-brown wood features grooved textural carving on the bodies, with lighter wood visible in carved areas, creating a spotted pattern on the shared rectangular base and lower bodies. Likely 20th century.
Condition report:
Good apparent condition. Minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and handling. A small natural stress crack is visible on the base.
