16.5 x 36 This lot features a pair of East Asian table screens, each constructed from dark carved wood. The screens display elaborate floral motifs on their arched tops and stylized bamboo on their scrolled bases. Each screen incorporates a central reddish-orange lacquered panel, decorated with a landscape scene rendered in gold paint or gilt, featuring foliage, architectural elements, and ducks. Two female figures, one holding an umbrella, are depicted in iridescent mother-of-pearl inlay within these scenes. The screens are connected by visible metal hinges.
