Description
A pair of Mid-Century Modern stoneware pieces by Ravnild, Denmark, dating to the 1960s. The collection comprises a vase and a bowl, both finished with a speckled earthy mustard-brown glaze accented with darker brown banded details. The vase features a cylindrical body, a distinct tapered shoulder, and a narrow cylindrical neck. The wide-mouthed bowl tapers to a smaller base. The unglazed base of the vase is clearly marked "RAVNILD DENMARK STONEWARE." The design is characteristic of Danish studio pottery from the period, bearing stylistic similarities to works by designers such as Tue Poulsen.
