Description
A Lladro porcelain figurine, ‘Chinese Nobleman’, model number 4916. This polychrome glazed ceramic figurine depicts a seated East Asian male dignitary, possibly an emperor or high-ranking official, holding a string of prayer beads. The figure wears elaborate traditional robes and a hat with a prominent finial, and is seated on a throne-like chair adorned with stylized dragon heads, scales, and auspicious cloud motifs. The chair rests on a rectangular plinth with clawed feet and features decorative panels with stylized characters that appear to be auspicious symbols on its front and back, all above a base decorated with a blue and white wave or ruyi pattern. The underside of the base is clearly marked "LLADRO" with its distinctive bell logo, and "HAND MADE IN SPAIN".
