Description

A circular porcelain bowl featuring a vibrant iron-red floral decoration against a white ground. The design includes large, multi-petaled flowers, possibly peonies or chrysanthemums, with broad leaves, accompanied by smaller scattered blossoms, extending across both the exterior and interior. A central floral motif adorns the interior base. The foot is decorated with a stylized wave or scroll pattern in iron-red. The underside bears a rectangular metallic foil label reading ‘ORIGINAL’ with a stylized ‘LJ’ monogram and ‘MADE IN JAPAN’, alongside a handwritten black marker inscription ‘X1598’. This piece reflects a relatively modern production in a traditional East Asian style.
