Description
A Giuseppe Armani ‘Summer – Lady with Cornucopia’ Figurine, Model 0182C. This cold-cast or resin sculpture depicts a semi-nude classical-style female figure, elegantly draped in flowing robes. She holds a basket overflowing with various fruits and wheat, resembling a cornucopia. The figurine features polychrome finishes in muted, naturalistic tones. It stands on a naturalistic sculpted base, which is affixed to a separate, dark, polished wooden plinth. Inscriptions on the sculpted base include "Giuseppe Armani, " "© 1992 FLORENCE, " and a stylized blue mark resembling an ‘N’. The underside of the wooden plinth bears a sticker reading "182C MADE IN ITALY" and another gold-colored sticker with "1979 / G / FLORENCE / sculture d’arte / Original / GIUSEPPE ARMANI / Figurines, " with "sculture d’arte" translating to "art sculptures."
