Description
A seriolithograph by Shan Merry (American/French, B. 1935), depicting a stylized, ethereal portrait of a woman with closed eyes and flowing hair, rendered in washes of blue, green, orange, and pink hues. The artwork is signed ‘Shan Merry’ and numbered ‘824 / 450’ in the lower right corner. It is presented under glass, within a white mat and a triple-layer inner mat (light grey and pale pink), and framed in a ribbed, metallic gold/bronze-toned frame.
Measurement: 27 x 34 IN
Condition report:
The artwork appears to be in good visual condition within the frame. The frame shows minor wear consistent with its type. The reverse is sealed with brown paper and fitted with hanging wire; a rectangular section on the back appears to have been re-taped.
