Description
A Spanish giltwood Neoclassical Revival console and mirror set. This two-piece wall-mounted set features an ornate gilt finish over carved wood or a composite material. The rectangular mirror is framed by an elaborate border of continuous foliate and gadroon motifs, topped by a prominent scrolled cartouche with a central finial. The console table beneath has a polished dark grey marble top with distinct white and ochre veining, supported by a matching gilt frieze and a substantial central acanthus leaf bracket. A label affixed to the underside of the console reads "MADE IN SPAIN".

Condition report:
The set is in good overall condition. There is minor wear to the gilding consistent with age and handling. The marble surface exhibits notable white residue or staining.
