Description
A collection of five Lladro glazed porcelain figurines, executed in the distinctive Lladro style characterized by soft lines, a muted pastel color palette, and sentimental depictions of clowns or circus performers. The undersides of several pieces prominently feature a blue printed ‘LLADRO’, ‘HAND-MADE IN SPAIN’ (Hecho a mano en España), and ‘D.A.I.S.A. 1981’ mark, accompanied by various incised model numbers.
The collection includes:
* ‘Circus Concert’ (model 5856): A standing and a seated musical clown duo.
* Model 5472: A solo standing clown holding an umbrella.
* Model 5203: A seated young clown engrossed in a book.
* A larger clown tenderly interacting with a child clown playing an accordion.
Approximately 12.5 inches (31.75 cm) (tallest figure).
Condition report:
All figurines appear to be in good, intact condition with no immediately visible chips, cracks, or repairs.
