Description
An Art Nouveau large silver plated samovar coffee urn. This ornate piece features a highly reflective silverplated finish, a bulbous body, and two elaborate scrolled handles with foliate accents. The domed lid is topped with a figural finial depicting two stylized birds. A decorative spigot with a scrolled escutcheon is centrally located on the lower body, and a small red jewel or indicator is visible near the base, suggesting a heating element. The urn rests on a separate stand composed of four ornate, scrolled legs with foliate feet, connected by a circular stretcher. No visible manufacturer’s markings are discernible.
