Description
This framed contemporary lithograph by Irene Awret depicts two stylized figures, an adult embracing a child, rendered in dark silhouettes with vibrant patterned details and bold red accents. The composition includes a bird holding a flower. The print is inscribed at the bottom edge of the mat with “© Jerusalem art prints, p.o. box 10261 Jerusalem, ” “litho grebel, ” and “irene and azriel awret – safad, israel.” The name “Gretel” or “Grebel” is also faintly visible in the upper left corner of the mat. The artwork is matted in a cream-colored board and housed within a simple gold-tone metal frame.
